RPI-Monitor

Install required list:

sudo wget http://goo.gl/vewCLL -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rpimonitor.list

Install public key:

sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 2C0D3C0F

Install RPI-Monitor:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rpimonitor

Show RPI-Monitor by browsing to http://SERVERNAME:8888

Update RPI-Monitor (optional):

sudo apt-get update
sudo service rpimonitor update

Add a second temperature sensor

To install a temperature sensor follow this posting first.

Please note your device identification number and edit the file

sudo nano /etc/rpimonitord.conf.d/default.conf

At the end of the “dynamic” section add the following lines

dynamic.16.name=outside_temp
dynamic.16.source=/sys/devices/w1_bus_master1/10-0008028d56e7/w1_slave
dynamic.16.regexp=t=(\d+)$
dynamic.16.postprocess=$1/1000
dynamic.16.rrd=GAUGE

Search the block “web.status.1.content.4…” and at the following code at the end of this block

web.status.1.content.4.line.2="Outside Temperature: <b>"+data.outside_temp+"&deg;C</b>"

Search for the block “web.statistics.1.content.8” and at the following code at the end of this block

web.statistics.1.content.8.graph.2=outside_temp
web.statistics.1.content.8.ds_graph_options.outside_temp.label=Outside temperature (deg C)

Save and close the file and restart the rpi-monitor

sudo /etc/init.d/rpimonitor restart

If you get an error like

Outside Temperature: undefined°C

please make shure that you don't have any linespaces at the end of each line.
